Surfwise is the artful creation of filmmaker Doug Pray (Scratch) who has long focused his lens on the engineers of American counterculture. Paskowitz is the patriarch of surfing?s most famous family. He and his wife popped out nine kids in an attempt to ?repopulate the world with Jews.? Paskowitz set out to realize a utopian dream. Abandoning a successful medical practice, he sought self-fulfillment by taking up the nomadic life of a surfer. Paskowitz, who pioneered an unprecedented way of family life.
Pineapple Express is the story of Dale Denton (played by Seth Rogen), a stoner who is in the process of turning into a self actualized adult along with his drug dealer, Saul, but both of them are slowed by poor habits. Saul and Dale, who is a stuck in neutral process server, inadvertently become witnesses in a drug related murder. Pineapple Express is a buddy movie about a pot dealer and his client. Pineapple Express is due out in theaters on August 8.
