I can’t wait to watch this!
All the more that Mao Inoue is in it.
I have read Arthur Golden’s book, Memoirs of a Geisha that was made into a movie. A glimpse on Chiyo/Saiyuri’s life played by Zhang Zi Yi captivated me in such a way that I understood the true meaning of “geisha.”
Mineko Iwasaki as one of the famous retired geisha brings inspiration to the women of the new generation.
