Secret Sunshine is a Korean comedy movie. It is about Shin Ae, a single mother who has lost everything. She moves from her small city into the country and becomes acquainted with Jong Chan, a mechanic at a garage. They fall in love but Shin Ae is carrying a great deal of pain within her that may prevent any chance of future happiness.
